AIRPORT TRANSFERS

Airport transfers to Andorra

Landlocked high in the Pyrenees, Andorra has no airport of its own — so every trip begins with a transfer up the mountain. We connect all five gateway airports to every resort, whether you want a private vehicle to yourself, a scheduled shuttle seat or a door-to-door taxi.

Book your transfer

Getting from the airport to your resort

Because Andorra sits above 1,000 metres with no runway of its own, the last leg of the journey is always a road transfer through the mountains. The good news is that the drive is genuinely scenic, the roads are well maintained, and once you have booked your transfer there is nothing more to arrange — someone will be waiting for you when you land.

We serve Barcelona El Prat, Toulouse Blagnac, Girona, Lleida-Alguaire and Reus, covering the flights that British and international skiers actually use. Barcelona and Toulouse are the two workhorses, offering both scheduled shuttles and private hire; Girona, Lleida and Reus are handled by private vehicle only.

Three ways to travel

Pick the option that suits your group, your budget and your arrival time. Each has its own dedicated page with fares and details.

How to choose the right transfer

A few quick questions usually settle it:

  • Travelling as a couple or on your own and watching the budget? A shared shuttle from Barcelona or Toulouse is the cheapest seat.
  • Bringing the family, a big group or lots of ski kit? A private vehicle keeps everyone together with no waiting around.
  • Landing late, early or on an awkward connection? Private and taxi transfers leave when you're ready, not to a fixed timetable.
  • Flying into Girona, Lleida or Reus? These airports are private transfer only, so book a vehicle for your group.
  • Want to be dropped at your accommodation rather than a central stop? Private, taxi and most shared drop-offs do exactly that.

Airports we cover

Five gateways feed into Andorra. Choose your arrival airport in the booking box above for a live quote.

Barcelona El Prat (BCN)

The busiest gateway, roughly four hours away, with terminals T1 and T2. Served by both scheduled shuttles and private vehicles.

Toulouse Blagnac (TLS)

The closest major airport, around three hours to most resorts and the quickest run of all to Pas de la Casa. Shuttles and private hire both available.

Girona (GRO)

A handy low-cost gateway roughly four hours out, served by private transfer only.

Lleida-Alguaire (LLD)

The nearest Spanish airport at about two hours, private transfer only.

Reus (REU)

Near Tarragona, around four hours away and served by private transfer only.

Booking is quick and confirmation is instant

Reserve online at least three days before you travel and you will receive a confirmation voucher by email. Bring it with you and show it to your driver on a private or taxi transfer, or use it to board at the shared-transfer stop shown on your voucher. There is no need to sort anything out at the airport itself.

If you are still weighing up your options, get a live quote in the booking box above — it will show you exactly what each choice costs for your dates, airport and party size.

Andorra transfer questions

Does Andorra have its own airport?

No. Andorra is a small mountain country with no commercial airport, so every visitor arrives by road from one of the nearby airports in Spain or France. A pre-booked transfer is the simplest way to make that final leg.

Which airport is best for Andorra?

Barcelona has the widest choice of flights and both shuttle and private options. Toulouse is the shortest drive for most resorts. Girona, Lleida and Reus can be cheaper to fly into but are private transfer only.

How far in advance should I book?

Book at least three days before you travel. Reserving early also means better availability on the scheduled shuttles, which run a fixed number of services each day.

What is the difference between a private transfer and a taxi?

Both are exclusive to your party. A taxi is simply a smaller private vehicle suited to couples and small groups, booked through the same private transfer service. Larger parties are carried in minibuses or coaches.
